Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas, everyone!!  We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating Emma's first Christmas at home.  We spent lots of time with family and friends and just relished in having Emma home with us.  Santa was very good to all of us, but the very best present was having Emma there on Christmas morning (plus, she was still asleep at 8:30AM, so we went in to wake her up!  I'm sure that's the first and last time that will happen on Christmas morning...).  Emma asked for her two front teeth for Christmas, but ended up getting her two bottom teeth!  She is happy and healthy and doing great. 

Aunt Lindsay came to visit on Christmas Eve and we all went to Emma's first Christmas mass.

Lights, Camera, Action!

We haven't given an update on how Emma is doing lately, but everything is going great with her.  She was a little over 16 lbs. at her last check-up which her doctor is just fine with.  She is right on track for her length, and her weight gain has probably slowed down a little since she's on the move so much!  But she's definitely still growing, which is all that matters.  We were given the ok to start transitioning her to whole milk, and she has been eating more and more table foods too.  We're having lots of fun with all these new adventures!  

We are definitely in the Christmas spirit around here!  Emma has been tolerating her paparazzi this weekend like a champ.

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town

Happy holidays, everyone!  Santa came early to us this year and got us a nice new camera, so there may be a lot more pictures coming onto the blog now (I have literally taken dozens of pictures already and we just opened it last night...).  It sure is fun to play around with the settings, and we've got a pretty cute subject to take pictures of!  Here are some that we've gotten so far:

The last one is a pic of Emma in her Christmas dress, because this morning..... she met Santa!!  She was such a trouper and did a great job!  We went to the mall and Mrs. Claus was just terrific as S.C.'s helper - we even got a smile!  Here are the pics!:

On the Move!

Emma is officially on the move and crawling all over the place.  She took her first few crawls on her birthday last month and hasn't stopped since.  She pulls up on anything she can get her hands on, and gets into everything!  She is so much fun to watch, and has only broken a couple things so far.
