Cousin Love

Emma finally got to meet her awesome second-cousin-once-removed (say that 5 times fast)!  She and Greta had so much fun together!  We all had such a wonderful time.

They even have the same expression!  So cute!

Emma is totally checking out Greta's sweet pants  ;)

Emma had so much fun...

...She needed a nap from all the excitement.

Greta is letting Emma borrow her jumparoo and she loves it!  Thanks Greta!!

Emma is getting big too.  At her last weigh-in, she was 10 pounds, 6 ounces (double digits!).

Look how much bigger she is in her car seat from 3 months ago!

7 Months!

Where has the time gone?  Emma is now 7 whole months old!!  And just over 3 months adjusted age.  She is still doing great and we are having so much fun.  Her last weigh-in was a week and half ago, and she was 9 lbs., 13 ounces, so she's probably over ten pounds now!  The visiting nurse still comes every other week, so we'll have another weight check this week.

Emma has also been sleeping great, which Mom and Dad are very happy about!

Emma has been having a blast with her solid foods.  She really loves being in her high chair and nomming away.  She just smiles and laughs (usually spraying a mouthful of food in the process) and is happy as a clam.  Next on the menu... seafood!

Just kidding!  (Get it?  See-food?!)

It was sweet potatoes, and she loves them!  Which monkey is messier?

We also celebrated our very first Mother's Day last weekend.

We also tried peas, which weren't as big of a hit, but she still did well with them.  By the end of the meal it just looked like she got slimed!

Emma got some new toys to play with.  She isn't quite sitting up by herself yet, but the toys are helping!

.. a little.

Yesterday was Mom and Dad's one year wedding anniversary too!  It sure has been an eventful year for all of us =)

Cheers!

Thank You!!!

Thank you very much to everyone who donated and offered us support for the March of Dimes walk.  We had a wonderful time and raised a lot of money for a great cause.  The weather was beautiful and the turnout was very impressive!  Thank you!!!

Emma loves her high chair!  (Thanks Aunt Denise and Kate!)

Next on the menu was bananas.  She wasn't sure at first...

But who doesn't love monkey food?!?!

More please!

Who wants a kiss?
