Fun with the Grandparents!

Emma has been having a blast with her grandparents lately.  Last weekend, we celebrated a very special birthday for Grandma!  Emma was all ready to be the photographer.

This weekend, we headed up to Massachusetts to see Memere and Grandpa.

Emma helped Memere do some gardening.  Gotta earn your keep!  :)

Then Emma helped Grandpa rake the hayfields.  A toddler's work is never done!

Before we left, Emma got a tour of the grounds in her chariot.  Wheeee!  

Sweetie Pie

Freeze pop, anyone??  Yum!  Emma had a sweet treat last week before heading over to Grandma and Grandpa's for a nice visit.  

Emma loves all types of containers, and loves to fill them up and empty them out.  Bags, buckets, baskets, you name it!  She got ahold of a basket of Grandma's tennis balls and had a ball! - pun intended!  :)

The next day, we were off to a friend's house for a 4th birthday party.  Emma borrowed an unattended car and took it for a spin ;)  

They had an awesome inflatable pool, which of course Emma couldn't wait to get into.

Thankfully, Emma still takes a long nap during the day, so I had some time to practice sewing and made this "pillowcase"-style dress.  Just in time for opening day -- of football season, anyway!
