Merry Christmas!

We have been busy enjoying a wonderful Christmas season!  Matt and I have had some time off from work and school and it's been wonderful to spend some extra time together with Emma.  We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Emma enjoyed opening her chocolate Advent calendar each day to see what surprise she would get.

Our little elf was a big help when we put up our tree.

All done!

We did some Christmas crafts and made lots of messes!

We spent Christmas Eve with Grandpa, Grandma, and Aunt Lauren.

And after dinner, Santa stopped by to see Emma!

We woke up Christmas morning to a little bit of snow on the ground!

Emma had a great time opening her gifts and trying her new stuff out.  She was a good girl this year!

Christmas Day we headed up to MA.  Emma got her very own Clip Clop!

And we got to Skype with Aunt Lindsay too!

Emma had so much fun hanging out with her awesome cousin Greta!

And this handsome guy, too!  Hi Tommy!

What do you think of my new hat?

After all the Christmas festivities, we headed down the barn the next morning to see the horses.

Merry Christmas, Mocha!

Back in the saddle!

We are back home and enjoyed some more snow this week.  Emma is good helper with her new shovel.

Have fun and stay warm, everyone!

Thankful for Family

Emma had a great time celebrating her second birthday!  This pretty much sums up the party:

This is her pirate face:

Emma (and Dad) have been enjoying some of her new toys, like her table and chairs.  Dad is getting ready for tea parties!

Pretty girl <3

We had so much fun on Halloween.  Emma was ready to go!

She dressed up as Sully from Monsters, Inc.  She's a cute lil' monster!

Last weekend we celebrated an early Thanksgiving in MA since Aunt Lindsay was home for a visit. We went for a pony ride of course, and Emma sported her new helmet!

She couldn't wait to go pet the pony!

And couldn't wait to get back in the saddle, either!

Emma got her very first lesson from Grandpa.  Heels down!  Just wait til he takes away your stirrups!  ;)

She also got another tractor ride after her lesson.  Beep beep!

After a busy day on the farm, we came home to a delicious Thanksgiving meal prepared by Memere.  Dee-lish!

Emma's favorite part was definitely dessert.  Who doesn't love strawberry shortcake?!

On Thanksgiving we gathered 'round for another delicious feast.

There are four generations in this photo if you look closely ;)

Stuffed!

After a night of partying, Ayla and Harry Potter Emma took a soak in the bubble bath.  Too cute!

We have so much to be thankful for!

Now it's time for Christmas!  =)
