Museum Fun!

Emma had her 15-month check-up this week and she is doing great!  She is 17 lbs, 8 ounces and 27.75 inches.  She is getting big!!  

Last weekend, we all went to the Children's Museum with the awesome Dionne family!

We learned about geometry...

And made some new friends...

Greta met an owl and said "hooooooo"!  

We had a great time!

Emma has been having lots of fun making giant messes with her food lately.  She had some spaghetti and meatballs - can you tell?

Her hair is getting longer, with lots of adorable curls coming in!! 

Tonight, Emma helped me make dinner.  

We're still working on her making food, but she's good at making noise!

Snow Day!

Emma couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow this morning. 

So we all bundled up and headed out!

She couldn't move very well in all her layers, but she stayed warm and looked cute! 

I think Mom and Dad may have had more fun than Emma did...

We came inside and defrosted after a great afternoon.

And made sure her sled is all ready for next time!  Can't wait!!

Emma was all tuckered out when we got home this weekend.  Straight to bed she went!

Baby Blues

I distracted Emma with some orange slices in her mesh feeder so I could snap a few pics of those baby blues.  What a cutie-patootie :)

Last week, we took advantage of some vacation time to visit the mall for lunch and Emma's first ride on the carousel with Grandma and Grandpa.  Thanks for a fun day!  

Emma was a little unsure at first.  

But she loved it!

She is still working on "heels down."

And "look where you're going."

She petted the nice pony afterward for giving her a ride.  Next time, it will be the real thing!  (right, Memere and Grampa???  ;-) )

Today, we celebrated Emma's cousin Ayla's first birthday in Albany.  We were so happy to be there on her big day.  Where does the time go?!  Happy birthday, Ayla!  

Emma had her first bouncy-house experience too!

A Year in Photos

Happy new year, everyone!  We have been reminiscing about the days of 2011 gone by and thinking about the days to come in the new year.  I thought it would be fun to see how far Emma has come in the last 12 months with a series of pictures.  It has been quite a year for her!  We are excited to see what 2012 will bring, but also hoping that it will be, dare we say, uneventful?!
